Tech N9ne makes an admirable debut with his new independent release "Something Else".
Tech N9ne has had a long career, which took him through many major label deals, but since going independent the rapper's popularity had been steadily growing. His latest project, Something Else is looking like it could be his biggest yet, sporting collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, T-Pain, Big K.R.I.T., Wiz Khalifa and more.His first week sales are definitely an accomplishment, especially for an independent artist. Something Else moved 58,324 copies this week, making it the second highest charting hip hop album behind Jay Z, and the fourth overall.
